Whilst many people would never consider going through their partner’s mail or searching through their bags, they might not be so hesitant about looking through the email inboxes or social networking site messages. In a poll recently conducted by computer security company Norton, they found that many people are willing to share their passwords with their partners, but that that trust may then be being abused. One in five women admitted to going through their partner’s emails and personal messages looking for suspicious materials, but only one in ten men admitted the same. Fifteen percent of women also said that things they’d found out about their partner online had then caused an argument. Are you worried about your partner’s online presence?
