Wheel of Fortune Tarot

X – Wheel of Fortune

The Wheel of Fortune card is a reminder that in life, the wheels are always turning – put another way, change is inevitable. But it is a hopeful card, offering a message that even if times are tough right now, this too shall pass, and brighter times; are on the way! The other cards; that appear in the spread should give you insights into what problems you are dealing with; and when the tide is likely to turn.

Many depictions of the card show animals around the wheel, the wheel rotates, and the animals move too. It is suggested that these animals represent the changes in our fate and the fact; there will always be some things that are out of our control. Sometimes, no matter the decisions; we make, there are higher influences; at play.

Great lessons to take away from this card:

  • Don’t take things for granted, especially people and relationships!
  • Remember to enjoy the present moment and drink in; as many experiences as you can.
  • Appreciate the happy times when you are experiencing them.

The Wheel of Fortune card can also represent an ending. Something may be coming to the end of its natural cycle; it could be a phase in your life – like children leaving home, changing jobs or careers, or; the ending of a relationship that no longer serves you. It means things have come full circle.

XI – Justice

The Justice card is often well understood. The card usually has an authority figure wearing a crown, perhaps holding a sword and scales. The scales are particularly significant; for justice to be fair, the facts must be balanced.

Often, when the Justice card appears in a spread, you will have a decision to make. You should take the card as a sign to weigh the pros and cons carefully. It is important to make a logical decision based on many factors; that you have considered. Now is not the time to jump in purely on your gut instinct.

Justice can also make an appearance, when you are facing a serious legal matter, maybe even divorce proceedings. These circumstances are always challenging, and it is tempting to use them to ‘get even’; the Justice card is here to remind us that is not the way. Lying, cheating, or trying to get more than your fair share in any circumstances will cause a punishment down the road.

Now, more than ever – it is time to rise above the situation and any emotions – do what is best for all concerned, and listen to all sides and opinions before making a move!
