A Spirit Guide has generally had at least one Earthbound experience, and as such are well placed to support you through life’s up and downs. This is one of the ways in which Spirit Guides differ from Angelic Guidance. Your Guides will always be available when you need them, but they will only offer direction when you ask for it.
Trust They Are There
Actually, seeing a Spirit Guide is unlikely for most people, although not impossible. As they exist on a non-physical plane, modifying their frequency to be visible to humans is incredibly challenging. So, connecting with them has to be achieved in a different way.

Relax, and close your eyes, until you begin to feel as if your inner-sight is starting to work.
In time messages will come, they may be nonsensical to begin with. Don’t worry about this – just accept what comes through. In time you will be able to make better sense of things.
What Type of Spirit Guide?
In your lifetime you may cross paths with many different Spirit Guides. On occasion a Guide maybe someone you have known and have had a special connection with, or even a family member that has crossed over. Other Guides will connect because they have gone through something similar to you, and as such are best placed to offer advice. Some Guides may act as teachers, with the specific purpose of enhancing your spirituality and working on your soul growth.
