Some time ago UNICEF released  analysis showing that Britain had the worst overall child well-being of 21 developed nations. They’ve now released details on the issues they believe are behind these statistics.

British society is, according to the report, less spiritually inclined and more focussed on materialism and pursuit of money than equivalent countries. In the UK parents are also more pressured to work long hours to get the money to keep up. What children really want, the analysis claims, is time, love and attention from their parents; time which is instead spent working.
