Mr Pyrchala took a wrong turn whilst his wife was in labour in the back of the car. There was no time to turn around and reach the hospital, Mr Pyrchala got into the back and delivered the baby himself! “There was not any time to plan,” he stated afterwards, “I just did what I had to do.”

Afterwards, he called the maternity ward and the couple, along with their new baby Emily, drove back to the hospital where she was checked over and found to be completely healthy.
