Today, we would like to share the tale of Derek Paravicini. He was born prematurely, blind and autistic, but has an incredible gift; he can play any piece of music perfectly on a piano just by hearing it once. He can’t see the piano or the sheet music, but he can listen to a song on an iPod and replicate it without missing a beat. He’s now practising to perform a concerto written specially for him.
