You might think that working for Apple would be the end-game for a lot of people, but Simon Thompson, who previously worked for Apple’s EU marketing division and left the company last May, has been picked up by Morrison’s to head up their internet division.
Morrisons have been reluctant to get an online service going, even though many of their competitors have eagerly embraced online stores and home delivery services. However, last year they stated that they wanted to get online and offer a great service there. Hiring Simon Thompson is a great way to show they mean business; he’s also worked for Honda and Lastminute.com and done very well for them.

Over the last few years, people have had plenty of reason to worry about their jobs and future employment opportunities, but just when things were looking up over the last few months, we began to get more reports that the sailing might not be as plain as we had initially hoped. The services sector, previously thought to have been escaping the slow down which has been hitting manufacturing over the last month or two, has been experiencing a slow down in its own recovery too.
News like this is always worrying, especially if that slowed growth turns into active recession again. It’s natural that you start considering your options and working out how you can best ensure your own job security.
If you’re worried about what news like this could mean for you, or what the future holds for your job and career, get in touch with us for psychic readings that will give you some psychic career advice.
