Our Charity Work
Psychic Light has been involved in supporting charities since its inception. We have in particular regularly given to Plan International, the Zimbabwe appeal, The Anthony Nolan Trust, Wateraid, Actionaid, UNICEF and may more. Through Plan International we have been supporting 5 children throughout the world in health and education programmes for many years now. We at Psychic Light feel it is good karma to use some of the money generated via helping clients through psychic readings, to help others in more physical need.
In early 2009 we donated £5000 to Plan International on behalf of our staff and readers. These funds are going to support a new project in Tanzania that will directly help 358 students in the town of Mvuti, Ilala District, Dar es Salaam, through the construction of a girl’s dormitory, kitchen and dining hall. The project will also provide the provision of vocational training to increase education enrolment and livelihood procurement.
Plan International aims to provide a safer learning environment for girls through the construction of dormitory and toilets, meaning that 100 female students will be able to live in a safer environment and increase their chances of performing well as school and progressing in to further education.
Below are shown the five children that we sponsor. Our readers and their children keep in touch regularly with these sponsors by writing and sending picture, photos, small gifts etc. Often the photos we send are very precious to these children as it is their connection to another world.
